Spinningfields’ Long Awaited Arrival

Spinningfields’ Long Awaited Arrival

The latest addition to the vibrant Spinningfields scene opened its doors this weekend – and what spectacular doors!

The brainchild of architectural imaginer Paul Danson, Long Bar is a spectacular ‘pop-up’ hang out which will add to Spinningfield’s already rich social and architectural diversity.

Long Bar FoodTaking its inspiration from public art, sculpture and industrial aesthetics, the bar’s intricate back-lit metal exoskeleton incorporates huge floor-to-ceiling doors, opening up onto the contrasting green lawns of Hardman Square.

The Spinningfields Crowd are in for a real treat as owners Spiningfields Events Ltd – a brand new partnership between Living Ventures and Allied London – promise non-stop Balearic beats, film nights and exclusive hire-access to Hardman Square for parties and special events.

In addition to unique, sleek modern looks, Long Bar also boasts the usual mix of fine food and great drinks for which Living Ventures is famous.  In Long Bar, these take the form of cheese, cold meat and deli boards, served with a selection of world beers, ales and cocktails – fantastic for soaking up the summer rays with a spot of outdoor drinking.
As if this wasn’t enough to recommend Manchester newest watering hole, Long Bar also benefits from a state-of-the art sound system from Blacka Installations, incorporating speakers, amplifiers, DJ equipment and more.

Bring on the sunshine!
